Welcome to LatinTravel.com. If you've been a reader of our former print magazine over the past 35 years you already know us.
Since 1966 our mission had been to be the Number #1 source for reliable Latin American travel information for travel agents and the traveling public. We've won numerous awards from many countries and travel organizations for our efforts.
In 1995, to reach a far wider audience, we switched to the online publication you're now reading.
In 2001, thanks to support from major tourism interests, we began extensive upgrading of the site's visual and verbal content. In a joint venture with World Travelvision (WTV) we're filming new 360º Virtual Reality photography and stream video in all 18 Latin countries.
This ongoing project is well underway. As you'll see we've already completed filming the seven Central America republics. WTV crews are now shooting all South American countries. We expect to be fully "VR" by the end of the year.
